Local Schools

Holton House Holton House

The local catchment schools for the village of Holton are Wheatley CE Primary School and Wheatley Park School, an 11-18 academy. The Primary School is located in Littleworth Road in Wheatley just over a mile away. Wheatley Park School, despite its name, is actually situated in the village of Holton.

Wheatley CE Primary School

Wheatley CE Primary School became an academy in March 2014 and is part of an Academy Trust – the Oxford Diocesan Schools’ Trust (ODST).

The school provides education for children from Reception to Year 6.

Admissions are managed via Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) who publish a comprehensive guide on how to make applications which you can access here.

Children will be offered a full-time place in Reception from the September following their fourth birthday. The current admission number for the school is 60.

Wheatley Park School

Wheatley Park School is an 11 - 18 academy within the River Learning Multi-Academy Trust and is set in a unique historic site in the village of Holton.

As an academy, it is its own admissions authority. The River Learning Trust has delegated the responsibility for admission arrangements to the Local Authority for Year Groups 7 to 11.
